Terms of Service

  • Down Payment: A 50% down payment is required before the start of the project to secure booking and initiate work.
  • Scope of Work: The client must provide a clear outline of the project requirements, including details such as desired music style, duration, format, and any specific instructions.
  • Timelines: Both parties must agree upon project timelines, including deadlines for deliverables such as drafts, revisions, and final versions.
  • Communication: Open and timely communication is essential throughout the project. The client must respond promptly to inquiries, feedback, and requests for clarification.
  • Revisions: The agreement typically includes a specified number of revisions or rounds of feedback. Additional revisions beyond the agreed-upon amount may incur extra charges.
  • Feedback: The client must provide constructive feedback on drafts and revisions to help refine the project according to their vision.
  • Payment Schedule: In addition to the initial down payment, the client must adhere to the agreed-upon payment schedule for subsequent instalments or final payment upon project completion.
  • Rights and Usage: The client must specify the intended use of the music or sound design, such as commercial or non-commercial purposes, and agree upon licensing terms and usage rights.
  • Credit and Attribution: The client must agree to credit the musician or sound designer appropriately in any public use or distribution of the work, as per the agreed-upon terms.
  • Cancellation Policy: Both parties should agree upon a cancellation policy outlining procedures and potential fees in the event of project termination or cancellation.
  • Final Approval: The client must provide final approval on the completed project before the remaining balance is due and final files are delivered.
  • Confidentiality: Both parties must agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive information or proprietary materials shared during the course of the project.
  • Dispute Resolution: Procedures for resolving disputes or conflicts should be outlined in the agreement, such as mediation or arbitration.

It's important for both me and the client to review and agree upon these terms before commencing work on the project to ensure a smooth and mutually beneficial collaboration.
